Responsibilities
• Procurement of assigned materials/commodities for ETO -Engineer to order- plants, (follow up to purchase orders, support on expedite of critical orders, resolution of price, and price/quantity discrepancies)
• Sourcing and setup of new parts (full bid process, information compilation (RFQs, Zycus, Negotiation) for assigned materials/commodities
• Responsible to maintain service level and drive supplier performance for assigned materials/commodities
• Develop strategy for commodity assigned, and participate in process improvement or productivity projects
• Execute Continues Supplier Improvement projects for assigned commodities (Delivery Performance, Prices, lead times, lot sizes, productivity/cost reduction, E-Ordering)
• Basic support/proposals (AOP, New supplier evaluation, stratification)
• Ensure SAP accuracy for assigned materials/commodities and suppliers
• Corresponds with manufacturing plants to provide timely information in regards critical parts, and when required support to accelerate MRB disposition from supplier
• Use reports available to analyze data in order to support brainstorming for performance or process improvement projects
• Performs other functions and duties as required

• Understanding of basic TCO
• Being able to work under pressure
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Ability to develop spreadsheets, analyze results, and reports findings (proficiency using Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups)
• Good communication skills
• Strong interpersonal phone and emails skills
• MRP knowledge: SAP, Demonstrated understanding of MRP, inventory, and production principles.
• Office knowledge, Excel and Power point

Required experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering and/or equivalent
• At minimum 3 years of experience in a Direct procurement buyer role
• Experience at Manufacturing company
• Basic understanding of ETO (Engineer to order) environment
• Required language written and spoken: English
